Typical Fields of Application of Butylacetate

Butylacetate is a solvent with a boiling point of 127°C. The vapor pressure at room temperature is 10.7 hPa. Butylacetate has the chemical formula C­­­­­­12­­. It can be easily solved in nonpolar (organic) solvents, but fairly bad in water (4,3 g per Liter). Synonyms are: n-Butyl acetate, Acetic acid n-butyl ester, Butile, Butyl ethanoate.
